Whether your process involves a web or strand
application, Hardy provides the ability to ensure consistent quality
product through our Tension Control Product line. Our Tension
Control Line utilizes a direct Load Cell Measurement in a
Closed-Loop control system to provide the highest accuracy
and consistency available for process Tension Control.

Hardy
Tension Controller… the HI 3300 is a
Tension Controller that incorporates features that provide true
advantages for the customer. These features include: |

WAVERSAVER®, which ignores vibration in the incoming signal and
provides a real time contant force signal.

Network Integration, which allows users to connect the controller to
a PLC or PC through most plant networks.
•
C2® Electronic Calibration, which provides the ability to calibrate
without the use of test weights, and without shutting down the
equipment for lengthy periods of time.
•
Embedded Webserver, which allows the user to access, set up, fine
tune, or diagnose the process from a PC in any location using
standard Web Browser software such as Internet Explorer.

LVDT & Strain Gauge
Sensors… Hardy provides a full line of
strain-gage and LVDT based load cells to provide precision
control over the tension in the web or the strand. The Hardy
sensors are available in a full range of capacities and mounting
configurations. |

Pneumatic Brakes…The Hardy line of
S & T Series Pneumatic Brakes provide high dynamic torque
control over high HP requirement unwind applications. The Hardy
line of BTBA Brakes provides high thermal capacity braking
requirements in a small package for unwinding applications. |
